Barry Llewellyn, from The Heptones has died.
Barry fell ill and was taken to the Kingston Public hospital where he died on the morning of November 23rd.  Leroy Sibbles, Earl Morgan and Barry Llewellyn first came together as
"The ep Ones" in 1965 in Kingston but they soon changed their name to "The Heptones".
Barry & Leroy became real reggae and rocksteady legends.
Asham had the honour to back up The Heptones for several concerts/festivals.  We would like to give thanks for that!
Barry, you will be remembered. 
Your music is universal...

ASHAM MEETS COLLIEMAN - THE SAME BLOOD (Released on 1st of October 2011)

Summer 2010, ASHAM and Belgian’s most promising reggae voice 'COLLIEMAN' played some wicked jam sessions, which eventually resulted in the musical project “Asham meets Collieman”. For both singer and musicians, it’s a mystic connection: the blend of Collieman’s soulful voice and Asham’s groove creates irie vibes. Together they present Collieman’s debute album: “The Same Blood”. Check it out, on disc and on stage!
